London, this week, bad weather...
The world might think everything sucks, but no.
In this city, behind all those gray clouds, there was something going on.
Fashion Week was set and the people was ready for the major event of the year so far. No, not the collections, the fact that we are in 2011, the weather everywhere SUCKS, and we still got to see Jacquelyn Jablonski going down the runway with the most amazing turquoise coat.
Talking about fashion making perfect sense.
It's just simple math, the world politically is killing so many people, but Fashion gives us that factor to smile, and that my readers is without a doubt, COLORBLOCKING.
BURBERRY (LONDON FASHION WEEK)
Ready-to-wear Fall 2011
Alberta Ferreti (MILAN FASHION WEEK)
Ready-to-wear Fall 2011
Faithfull to her Italian style, Alberta Ferreti gives us what we all expect from her: Bright colors and fabric's designs that put her in a very good position this FW.
The high boots and the great colored suits, brought to her label, a better vision in what's the world wearing: COLOR!
But, as an Italian she just CAN'T forget about lace, thats why the collection finished with a very rich group of laced dresses, very sexy and feminine.
DOLCE & GABANNA (MILAN FASHION WEEK)
ORANGE... BOOM!
YELLOW... BOOM BOOM!
FUCSIA... BOOM BOOOM CAPUT!
This is just fantastic.
Im in love with Dolce and Gabanna since forever and what I love about this dinamic italian duo is that they can give us the PERFECT romantic-white-guipur-leopard print-italian fantasy in spring, and then give us this perfectly put together Fall Ready-to-wear collection.
Their awearness of the pop culture dresses and the fact that they embrace the industry in such a comercial and at the same time FASHIONABLE way, blows my mind!
As they do, perfectly wearable pieces with writing on it, jackets, long skirts and OF COURSE... COLOR!!
I'll bring my opinion on the other collections along the way...
TONS OF LOVE!
XOXO
